The Certificate of Conformity (CoC) is a mandatory document that certifies products comply with the technical regulations, safety, and quality standards of the importing country.

Saudi Arabia – SASO / SABER Compliance
Regulatory Authority:
Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) under the SALEEM program.
Certification is managed through the SABER online platform.
1. Product Assessment & Classification:
Identify applicable SASO Technical Regulations based on product type (e.g., cables, building materials, chemicals, food contact products).
Determine whether the product requires Product CoC (PCoC) and Shipment CoC (SCoC).
2. Testing & Laboratory Coordination:
Conduct or coordinate product testing in SASO-accredited laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025 compliant).
Ensure conformity with relevant IEC, SASO, or GSO standards.
3. Document Preparation:
Compile all required technical files (test reports, specifications, product datasheets, safety certificates, etc.).
Review product labeling, barcodes, and packaging to match SASO requirements.
4. Pre-shipment Inspection (if required):
Perform on-site verification of product marking, packaging, and batch numbers before shipment.
